Tipperary woman Michelle Ryan has appealed for the return of jewellery belonging to her late mother.

Three items of gold jewellery were taken from Michelle’s home outside Tipperary town yesterday and she is asking for their safe return.

Having lost her mother to cancer as a young girl, these items are invaluable to her and her family.

Michelle, her father and her brothers are asking anyone who may have noticed anything unusual in Tipperary town, particularly the area of Cordangan, yesterday to get in touch.

The stolen items include a 9ct gold belcher bracelet, oval belcher link bracelet plus triquer catch to close and secure (4.1 grams), a 9ct pendant and chain, belcher chain 24 inches, with a heart shape ‘I love you’ spinning pendant (8.7 grams) and a 9ct gold fancy link bracelet, each large link connected with smaller plain link and large trigger catch (7.5 grams).

Gardaí in Tipperary town are currently investigating and urge anyone with information to contact them on 062 80670.
