A three-year-old boy is understood to be in critical condition after being struck by a car in Dublin.
Gardaí are currently at the scene of the collision that occurred at an underground car park in Finglas on Wednesday (11 March).
A Garda spokesperson told JOE that Gardaí and emergency services responded to the incident shortly after 8.40am.
The young boy was transported by ambulance to Children's Health Ireland (CHI) Temple Street with "serious injuries".
"His condition [is] understood to be critical," the spokesperson added.
Investigations are said to be ongoing.
