Three lucky players in Ireland won big in last night's EuroMillions draws.
The three lucky winners struck gold during last night's (June 3) draw, with two winning €500,000 and another scooping a €212,330 prize.
The half-million euro prizes were claimed by players in Kerry and Cavan, while the €212,330 prize was won in Clare.
The Cavan and Kerry winners matched all 5 numbers in the EuroMillions Plus draw, bringing the number of EuroMillions Plus top prize winners to 18 this year.
These wins also bring the total prize money awarded this year to a whopping €9,000,000.
The winning Cavan player purchased their Quick Pick ticket on May 31 from Costcutter, Railway Road, while the Kingdom player purchased their Quick Pick on June 1 from Healy’s Shop, New Street, Killarney.
Meanwhile, in Six Mile Bridge, the winner of the huge €212,330 matched five numbers in the main EuroMillions draw.
Their Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw from Centra, The Square, Sixmilebridge, the same town that saw a massive €500,000 win earlier this year.
National Lottery spokesperson, Darragh O'Dwyer commented: "It’s been an extraordinary night of celebrations across the country, with three players in Cavan, Clare, and Kerry waking up significantly richer today.
"We’re thrilled to see two EuroMillions Plus top prizes of €500,000 and a Match 5 win of €212,330 all land in one night across both the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws.”
Despite over 60,000 Irish players winning a prize in last night's draw, the EuroMillions jackpot worth an eye-watering €238,816,94 has yet to be won.
This now means, in Friday night's draw, EuroMillions players are in with a chance of winning the biggest ever EuroMillions jackpot, which is an estimated €250 million.
