Following the status yellow warning issued for the entire country, two further warnings have been issued for a number of counties.
A snow ice warning is in place for Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Dublin, Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Louth, Wicklow, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Leitrim, Cork, Limerick and Tipperary.

Snow of less than 2cm is expected this evening and/or tomorrow morning with the warning valid from 4 pm this evening until 9 am tomorrow morning.
The second warning applies to Galway, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Tipperary.
This is also regarding snow and ice but to a lesser degree as it’s expected to clear by 2 pm later today.
Finally, the third warning relates to Leinster, Donegal, Cavan and Monaghan with frost and ice expected to develop in these parts later today.
This warning is in place from 3 pm today until 3 am tomorrow morning.
