This is the latest update on the incident.
Back in July, a former Playboy Playmate, Dani Mathers, took a photo of a naked woman at her gym and shared it online. She received a
huge backlash with people giving out to her for body-shaming the 70-year-old woman.
Shortly afterwards she tried to explain that it was just supposed to be sent to a friend and not to the wider public. She also said on Twitter, "I love empowering women and have dedicated my life to that.. I made a horrible mistake and am sorry".
TMZ are now reporting that Dani will be charged with the crime of invasion of privacy. The woman who was photographed decided to prosecute Dani after police tracked her down after the incident.
If convicted Dani could face six months in jail.
Dani's lawyer, Tom Mesereau, told
TMZ, "I’m disappointed that she was charged with any type of violation. She never intentionally violated anyone’s privacy and never tried to break the law at any time."
