A sixteen-year-old boy has been arrested in the US after reportedly shooting his classmate in the face.
According to Metro, Maxwell Morton from Pennsylvania shot Ryan Mangan before taking a selfie on his phone, which he also posted to Snapchat.
Mangan’s body was found at his home on Wednesday and police were alerted to the alleged shooter “after a mother discovered the photo of a Ryan’s body on her son’s phone”.
The image was reportedly accompanied with a text message reading: ‘Told you I cleaned up the shells. Ryan was not the last one’.
Following a search at his home, Morton reportedly confessed after police found a handgun hidden under the basement steps that matched the shell casing found at the scene of the murder.
