Great, great, great.
Listen, it was going good there for a while and we all thought the warm weather was here to stay.
Then it rained. Got cold, and rained some more. Not great.
However, things are looking up from today as the summer solstice will bring with it some absolutely gorgeous weather.
Temperatures are going to rise to near 18C.

According to Met Éireann: “Today will be a fresh day, in moderating northwest to northerly breezes. Some sunny spells at times, but some cloudy periods too and dry apart from the odd light shower in northern areas.
“Top temperatures 14 to 18 C., best in southern coastal counties.”

Tomorrow looks even better, with temps going up to 20C.
“Friday, will be another fresh day. Some sunny spells at times in all areas, but occasional cloudy periods too. Top temperatures 16 to 20 C., best values in east Munster and south Leinster.”
It’s going to be an absolute scorcher next week though, with weather in the high 20s, and on Wednesday it’s said to reach 28C.
We. Cannot. Wait.
