It’s time to say goodbye to the good weather as Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow thunderstorm and rain warning.
Met Éireann has issued a thunderstorm and rain warning for Leinster, Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Leitrim, Roscommon, Sligo, Tipperary, and Waterford until 10 pm tonight.
The national forecaster said to expect “localised slow-moving showers with heavy downpours, potential thunderstorms, and a chance of hail”.
They also noted that travelling conditions may be difficult.
Met Éireann has warned the public of localised flooding, as well as difficult traveling conditions.

The yellow weather warning is in place from 12 to 10 pm today, Monday, June 12th.
Met Éireann has also issued a yellow thunderstorm warning for Northern counties – Fermanagh, Tyrone, and Derry.
UK Met Office Weather Warning said thunderstorms developing Monday afternoon may bring some disruption.
