Spencer Pratt has asked his fans for help after losing his home in the devastating Los Angeles wildfires.
For the last week, fires have been ravaging large parts of LA. At the time of writing, the death toll from the blazes stands at 24, with three fires still active: the Palisades fire, the Eaton fire and the Hurst fire.
Thousands of structures have been lost in the fires, including the homes of several celebrities.
One of those was reality TV star Spencer Pratt, who has taken to TikTok to urge his followers to support him and his wife, Heidi Montag.
Pratt, who found fame on reality TV series The Hills, revealed that he and Montag were "trying to get a show on Hulu" and had a call scheduled with the streaming service on Monday.
He asked fans to stream Montag's 2010 song 'Superficial' to provide financial support to the couple, with the song reaching number 1 on the iTunes chart.
The TV personality also said the ad revenue he was earning on his Snapchat videos was helping to cover costly expenses the couple now face, TMZ reports.
But he pleaded with his followers to watch and engage with his TikTok video, claiming that if it reached the top 10 most-liked, he could earn up to $1,100.
Pratt and Montag's home was located in the Pacific Palisades, an area of LA popular with celebrities. The Palisades wildfire has ravaged the region though, having burnt through more than 23,000 acres.
The fire is still active, and is only 13 per cent contained, according to CalFire.
The other two active fires are the Eaton blaze, which has burnt through more than 14,000 acres and is 27 per cent contained, and the Hurst fire which has covered 799 acres and is 95 per cent contained.
However, there are fears the fires could spread rapidly again as strong winds are forecast this week.
As a result, the National Weather Service has issued a "particularly dangerous" red flag warning for LA, which is the same level of warning that came before the fires started last week.
