Our highlights of Sean Spicer’s tenure as US press secretary

Spicer has resigned. We’ll give you all a second to recover from gasping so hard from shock that you collectively passed out.

All better? Good.

According to The New York Times, Spicer gave his resignation within moments of President Trump’s official appointment of the New York financier Anthony Scaramucci as communications director.

While the reason behind it hardly matters, and everyone is surprised he remained in the position even this long, we will miss him and his … unique way of dealing with the press.

Never in the history of politics has one of the President’s employees, whose job it was to deal with the news and reacting to inflammatory headlines, wound up in the news as much, causing so many inflammatory headlines to be written, to which he would then react, and on and on the cycle went…
