Our hearts melted when we seen the Sainsbury's Christmas ad earlier this week and now, there's another lovely story from the retailer.
The seasonal ad was created in conjunction with the Royal British Legion and depicted the famous truce between the English and German troops in December 1914.
With the tagline 'Christmas is for sharing', one scene see a British soldier give a chocolate bar to one of his German counterparts and the retailer has been selling the distinctive chocolate bars since to raise money for the organisation.
Sainsbury's confirmed today that they are currently selling 5,000 bars per hour across their stores, with 50p from each bar going to the Legion.
"We partnered with The Royal British Legion, in the 20th year of our relationship with them, to ensure we tell this story with authenticity and respect and we’re selling in the region of 5,000 every hour of the chocolate bars we have made to help to raise additional funds for them," said a spokesperson.
