Rihanna's Beverly Hills home has been hit by gunfire, according to police.
LAPD officers responded to reports of gunfire at 13:15 local time (21:15 GMT) on Sunday. A suspect was subsequently located and taken into custody, per The BBC.
A police official told CBS News, the BBC’s US partner, that the targeted home belonged to Rihanna and that shell casings from an assault rifle were found at the scene.
It has been reported that no one was injured in the incident, however, Rihanna was in the mansion at the time, a law enforcement source told the Los Angeles Times.
According to police, a woman in her 30s stopped in a car outside the mansion and fired seven shots before speeding away.
The vehicle was located approximately eight miles from the pop star's home, where the woman was then taken into custody.
The woman has not yet been publicly identified.
Just last September, Rihanna gave birth to her third child with her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky.
The couple, who also share two sons, Riot and RZA, announced Rihanna’s latest pregnancy at last year’s Met Gala.
The baby news was not the first time they made headlines in 2025. In February, A$AP Rocky was found not guilty of firing a gun at a former friend, in a trial that saw Rihanna bring their two sons to court.
