We were sickened last week when a work syndicate picked up the €3.8 million lotto jackpot.
The crew of ten work on cheese strings production in the Charleville factory. They collect their cheque yesterday and stood outside Lotto HQ for the obligatory we-got-rich-quick champagne celebration.

Much to our delight however, it eased the pain slightly to watch one of the winners absolutely snot herself with champers. Shaking it like a mad yolk, the champagne explodes and she almost drowns. Obviously we’d never wish any harm on the woman, but the momentary embarrassment as she collected her thousands of euro, eased our bitterness slightly.
