Irish singer Samantha Mumba is “grateful” that neither she nor her unborn baby were harmed in a three car pile-up this week.
The 32-year-old, who is currently based in the US, was put on a stretcher and taken to hospital after the incident which occurred in Los Angeles on Monday morning.
She posted the photograph below on Instagram and let her fans know that both she and her baby girl, due this month, are okay.

The caption read: “So yesterday was a bad day. 3 car pile up that we got the brunt of. My poor car written off a week before the baby is due. As is her carseat.
“However on a more positive note God protected us all…after spending the night in hospital monitoring her we are just so grateful that our little girl is ok and this wasn’t any worse. Serious reality check.”
Samantha and her husband Torray Scales announced last year that they are expecting their first child together. The couple tied the knot back in 2012.
