The Port Tunnel is currently closed from both directions due to an overturned truck.
According to AA Roadwatch, both the north and southbound sides are closed “due to an overturned truck in the northbound bore”.
A statement on their site reads: “There are northbound delays from 3Arena on East Wall Road and southbound traffic is slow from the M1/M50 interchange as a result.
“The traffic cordon for HGVs has been lifted.”
Meanwhile, Dublin Fire Brigade has reported that there has thankfully been no injuries during the incident.

It has been reported that the tunnel will be closed until at least 11.30am.
