Update: at least two people have been killed and 24 injured after gunfire was heard on the Las Vegas strip.
Las Vegas police are investigating reports of an “active shooter” on the Vegas strip.
Reports suggest that the shooting happened a country music concert near Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino.

Las Vegas police have urged people to “avoid” the south end of the strip.
They also stated that Las Vegas Boulevard has been shut down at Tropicana.
