My Chemical Romance drummer Bob Bryar has died at the age of 44.

Bryar who was the drummer of the band between 2004 and 2014 was found dead in his Tennessee home on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving.

He was last seen alive earlier this month on November 4.

According to TMZ, the death is not being treated as suspicious and none of Bryar’s weapons or music equipment were disturbed.

It added that Animal Control were also called to the property to remove two dogs after his badly decomposed body was discovered.

A medical examiner is currently investigating the cause of death.

Bryar first met My Chemical Romance while touring with The Used in 2004, and he officially replaced their original drummer Matt Pelissier shortly after the release of their 2004 album Cheers For Sweet Revenge.

He played the drums on their 2006 album The Black Parade and was credited as a songwriter on their 2010 record Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.

He left the band to work with other bands before quitting the music industry to pursue a career in Real Estate.

After leaving the band it was reported that Bryar struggled with suicidal thoughts. Despite a reunion on the cards for My Chemical Romance next year, their longest serving drummer had no plans to return to the music industry.
