An extremely sad story...

It’s something you could never imagine yourself doing.

When it comes to birthdays, most people spend it celebrating with their friends and family, perhaps eating or drinking too much.

It’s a time for happily reminiscing on years gone by and getting ready for the future, making plans for years to come.

Unfortunately for one woman, Tina Wells Louden, her daughter’s birthday remains an extremely sad occasion.

Tina’s daughter Ashley passed away from heroin addiction in 2013, after spending 5 years trying to quit the drug and stay clean.

Ashley’s 28th birthday would’ve been this month, and Tina posted a message to the Facebook page Heroin Kills You to remind people of the dangers of drug addiction and the consequences that parents must suffer after losing their children.

“To my daughter’s drug dealer, this is how I spend my daughter’s birthday now….how do you live with yourself??? That’s all I wanna kno…I don’t normally post pics like this but let’s make this go viral so all the drug dealers see what they are doing to our families.”

Speaking to KDSK, Tina explained why she took the photo, which went viral soon after it being posted.

“I know Ashley took the drugs, but I still believe the dealer should be somewhat responsible, they are selling this poison knowing that it could kill you.

“Maybe [the post] it would change somebody, we live through this pain, every birthday, every holiday, it’s not the same. Part of our heart is gone.”
