Mom makes 3-year-old’s poop-themed party dreams come true

Modern childhood is a never-ending carousel of themed birthday parties, but one little girl was determined to make her party stand out... in a rather odd way.

In the run up to the big day, Missouri three-year-old Audrey set her sights on a poop-themed bash. “For months, every time we mentioned her party, Audrey requested ‘poop balloons and a poop cake,’” Rebecca told The Huffington Post. “I tried suggesting other themes, but she always insisted on poop.” Having decided to get on board, Audrey's mom Rebecca and dad went all out; even wearing a poop emoji costume on the day. Audrey wore a poop-emoji dress. A game of “pin the poop on the toilet” had the kids in stitches and a piñata shaped like the poop emoji kept them occupied for another hour. Delicious poop-shaped cookies were baked for the event and, as a parting gift, Audrey gave all her little guests a whoopee cushion. Explaining why she decided to make her daughter's weird wish come true, Rebecca said: “I feel like in this time of Facebook and Pinterest, we sometimes get caught up in trying to impress other adults,” “This party wasn’t for me, it was for Audrey. I love that we will look back at pictures, and it will represent her at 3 ― my funny and quirky little girl.” We love her attitude. Can't wait to hear what Audrey has in mind for next year.
