Global runway model Cristina Perez Galcenco has died at the age of 21.
Galcenco, who had been a model on catwalks in Madrid, Milan, Paris, and London, was found dead at her house in Malaga on February 3.
Spanish newspapers report that she had moved to Malaga to enrol in a class at a school.
Galcenco had been modelling since she was 14.
Alongside appearing at events such as Madrid Fashion Week, she also starred in ads for brands like Stradivarius and showcased new fashion lines for fashion houses such as Louis Vuitton and Versace.
Her remains are expected to be transported to Asturias in northern Spain for her funeral.
Her father, Nacho Perez, who was a footballer for Sporting de Gijon, and her mother, Tatiana Galcenco, are yet to make a comment.
Photographer Xana de Jesus paid tribute to her writing: "I have no words for this sad news, except to tell her parents Tatiana Galcenco and Nacho Perez and her family that a star shines eternally in our hearts and that I offer my deepest condolences in such a time of profound sorrow."
Another friend wrote: "I will never forget your words, Cris. You were and always will be a role model and an example to follow, both in your modelling career and as a person.
"I was very fortunate to have known you and worked with you. How unfair life is."
