The father of Aoife Finan, a teenager who went missing on Saturday following a concert has thanked the public for their help in locating his daughter.
Eric Finan posted on his Facebook page to thank the public for their support.
"Hi everyone. We have some FANTASTIC news. Aoife has been found safe and sound. Ye have all been an amazing support and we won't forget it," he said.
Aoife contacted her mother earlier this evening and told her she was on a bus from Dublin to Cork.
Eric Finan said: “She has been in contact with her mother in the last forty minutes to say she is on a bus to Cork. So all is well that ends well in this case.”
A huge appeal was launched earlier today to help locate Aoife after she got separated from her friends at Saturday's Swedish House Mafia concert.
