Following yesterday’s “status orange” weather alert for Ireland, Met Éireann have kept it in place, warning people of widespread showers and thundery spells.
People in Ireland are to expect some prolonged showers, thunder and hail with a risk and localised flooding.
According to meteorological site, “ORANGE level weather warnings is for weather conditions which have the capacity to impact significantly on people in the affected areas.
“The issue of an Orange level weather warning implies that all recipients in the affected areas should prepare themselves in an appropriate way for the anticipated conditions”.
Temperatures will range from 16 to 19 degrees. Winds will be generally light and from the south, but could be gusty in and around showers.
