Meghan Trainor has welcomed a baby girl via surrogacy and has revealed the unique name to her millions of followers.
Meghan and her Spy Kids star husband, Daryl Sabara, already share sons Riley, four, and two-year-old Barry, however, now they've given their two boys a sister over the weekend (18 January).
The Me Too singer took to her Instagram to announce the happy news.
She shared a series of photos capturing her sons meeting their new little sister, along with selfies of two very happy parents beaming with joy.
She captioned the adorable post: "Jan 18th 2026.
"Our baby girl, Mikey Moon Trainor, has finally made it to the world thanks to our incredible, superwoman surrogate. We are forever grateful to all the doctors, nurses, and teams who made this dream possible."
Meghan continued: "We had endless conversations with our doctors in this journey, and this was the safest way for us to be able to continue growing our family.
"We are over the moon in love with this precious girl."
She rounded off by giving her fans an update on how her two boys are coping with the newest addition: "Riley and Barry have been so excited, they even got to choose her middle name.
"We are going to enjoy our family time now, love you all."
Fans were quick to flood the comments with heartfelt messages congratulating the mum-of-three.
However, a few others couldn't help but share their verdicts on the name choice.
One user wrote on X: "Why do they always give them names like that?" with another adding: "Mikey Moon. Sounding like a Disney character/"
Others also criticised the skin-to-skin contact shown in the photo, deeming it 'performative' and 'dystopian': "Skin to skin here is doing nothing. The purpose is so that the baby can smell the one they’ve been inside for 9 months, hear the heartbeat she’s heard for 9 months, and get the hormones flowing to the mother for milk production."
However, others absolutely loved the unconditional name, with one writing: "So cute, adorable name!"
"That’s such a cute name," quipped another.
