Meatloaf collapsed on stage in Edmonton, Alberta last night.
The singer reportedly fell to the floor and looked as though he had lost consciousness before his bandmates rushed to his side.
The Northern Jubilee Auditorium was evacuated and emergency services were called to the venue.
Concert goer Lindsay Sundmark spoke to The Edmonton Journal:
“He was performing I Would Do Anything For Love, and all of a sudden in the middle of it, he collapsed right on stage.
“We weren’t sure at first whether it was part of the act or it was something for real”.
Earlier this week, the best-selling musician cancelled a gig in Calgary owing to illness.
He has previously collapsed on stage on two occasions, during a 2003 show in London and 2011 in Pittsburgh.
