Irish reality star Maura Higgins is reportedly “reading scripts” for Disney following her huge success in the US.
Maura Higgins became a household name after appearing on Love Island. Following further reality TV appearances, including I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, she headed to the US, where she reached the final of the American version of The Traitors.
To no one's surprise, the Longford beauty won over the Americans with her no-nonsense attitude and cheeky banter. Since then, Maura was tipped for several reality TV shows, including The Bachelorette, following The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul’s domestic abuse scandal.
However, Maura Higgins isn’t limiting herself to reality TV, having also turned her hand to acting. Following her big-screen debut in The Spin, she has now reportedly begun reading scripts for Disney.
"Maura is keeping her cards close to her chest, but she couldn’t help but tell pals she’s reading scripts for Disney," a source close to Maura told The Sun.
"Everyone – including Maura – is stunned at how well her career in the US is going. This is just the beginning."
Ever since the latest season of The Bachelorette was cancelled by ABC following the domestic abuse scandal involving Taylor Frankie Paul of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Maura Higgins has reportedly emerged as the favourite for the upcoming season.
