She has signed on to join one of the most popular TV shows in America, but Mariah Carey is not resting around until filming starts.
The 5 time Grammy Award winner has this morning tweeting a picture of herself on the set of her new music video.
Mariah will release ‘Triumphant (Get ‘Em)’ in early August. The track features Rick Ross and Meek Mill, and Carey has previously told fans that she wrote the song while ‘going through a difficult time’. Filming for the accompanying video began today, but the diva didn’t look like she was pushing herself too hard, lounging around on a sofa and looking pretty fab.
The song will be the first single from a forthcoming Carey album, which no doubt will receive plenty of plugs on American Idol.
Still, she must be doing it for a love of the music, it’s unlikely she needs the money on top of her rumoured ‘Idol’ paycheck, a whopping $18 million.
