A man has been arrested after crashing a car into Monaghan Garda Station this evening.

According to RTÉ News, the incident happened around 7pm this evening.

No one was injured in the incident but the front of the station suffered some smoke damage.
Gardaí arrested a man in his 40s who was then brought to Carrickmacross station for further questioning.
