A man has died after being struck by a lorry on the M50 near Junction 6, Blanchardstown this afternoon.
The body has since been removed to Connolly Hospital.
No other injuries have been reported.
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01-6667000, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666111 or any Garda station.
The M50 southbound is currently closed following a serious collision.
The incident is said to have occurred at Junction 6 Blanchardstown, and traffic is being diverted up the Junction 6 slip road to rejoin the M50 after Junction 6.
Units of Dublin Fire Brigade are at the scene along with other emergency services.

It is believed that lane 3 will reopen shortly after a forensic collision examination by Gardaí.
