Fans of New Zealand singer Lorde have been left gobsmacked after she included an X-rated picture in the cover of her new album's vinyl release.
Her latest album, Virgin, was released yesterday (June 27), three years on from 2022's Solar Power.
The artwork for the album's vinyl has left many fans shocked due to its NSFW nature.
The image on the cover is very cleary a picture of her vagina taken through clear plastic trousers.
Unsurprisingly, fans were quick to react online.
One X user wrote: "Why is Lorde’s beaver all over my timeline."
Another said: "A lot of you are being very weird about the lorde vinyl cover… who tf cares if her lordeussy was out. it’s just a body."
Someone else wrote: "I’m sorry but Lorde putting her cooch on vinyl is iconic asf."
Another fan posted: "Just got the virgin vinyl, I opened it and first thing I saw was Lorde’s hairy ***** hun I wasn’t ready for that jumpscare lmaooo."
A warning in regards to the album cover can be found on Lorde's website.
It reads: "12” X-ray picture disc vinyl, high gloss gatefold cover, 8 page full colour booklet, metallic silver printed inner sleeve. Parental advisory: adult images.”
The 28-year-old also played a surprise set at Glastonbury on Friday and performed songs from the new album.
