Add us as a preferred source on Google »Justin Bieber has stressed he is not a victim of rapper Diddy. He has addressed the claims following the beginning of Sean Combs' federal court trial.
In a new statement, the singer stressed that he is not among Sean Combs' victims.
A spokesperson for the singer said shifting the focus away from the real victims is wrong.
Rumours that Bieber was allegedly abused by the rapper circulated following Combs' arrest in 2024.
The pair worked together during the early years of Bieber's career.
Fans expressed their concerns about Bieber after a video resurfaced online of Diddy and a 15-year-old Bieber.
In the clip, the disgraced rapper says, "Right now [Bieber’s] having 48 hours with his boy. Where we’re hanging out and what we’re doing cannot really be disclosed.
"For the next 48 hours, he’s with me and we’re gonna go buck full crazy.”
Bieber has now shut down the claims after many fans believed his current mental health struggles were linked to the case.
A representative for the singer told TMZ:
"Although Justin is not among Sean Combs' victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him.
"Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve."
Sean Combs was arrested in New York last September.
The rapper was charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
He has denied all charges and entered a not guilty plea on September 17th, 2024.
