DNA test results have proven Julia Wendell is not Madeleine McCann.
Julia Wendell now plans to return home to her father after the tests confirmed her claims were false.
Earlier this month, Julia’s parents said her claims were a “cruel hoax”.
Her family told the Polish charity ‘Missing Years Ago’ that their daughter suffers from mental health issues.
“We would like to take a stance on Julia’s case, which has spread the Internet and media in many countries in recent days. For us, as a family, it is obvious that Julia is our daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and step-niece.

Her family also confirmed they have pictures of Julia from her childhood.
“We always tried to understand all situations that happened with Julia. Numerous therapies, medicines, psychologists, and psychiatrists – Julka had it all guaranteed. She wasn’t left alone.”
Julia doesn’t plan on contacting her mother.
She may be returning home to her father, but Julia doesn’t plan on speaking to her own mum.
During her interview with Dr. Phil, Julia said she won’t speak to her mother even if the DNA test results prove she isn’t Madeleine McCann.
“If she is my mother I don’t want to have contact with her. But I don’t believe she is.”
The DNA test results proved that Julia is 100% Polish. She is not Madeleine McCann.
Dr. Fia Johansson, a private investigator who has been assisting Julia, said Julia’s story is “complicated”.

“This story is much more complicated than a simple girl from a small town in Poland making a claim to get attention.
“She truly believed what she was saying, and with so many questions about her childhood it is easy to understand where she was coming from.”
Johansson slated her parents for refusing to take a DNA test.
She continued, “She is absolutely 100 percent from Poland. She is a small percentage of Lithuanian and Russian but the test results show she is Polish.”
“Upon revelation, she decided to be back with her dad. I personally wish her well.”
