Is Johnny Depp the best ex-boyfriend in the history of all time? We don’t know about you, but we’re inclined to think so after we heard that he bought his ex-partner, Vanessa Paradis, a brand new house.
Yes, according to reports, Johnny has dropped a cool $4.4million on a huge Mediterranean-style mansion in the Hollywood Hills for Vanessa. Why has he done this? Well, apparently Johnny just wants to make sure that Vanessa and their two children are safe and taken care of, following his split with the singer.
Vanessa’s new pad spans 5,800 square-feet and has five bedrooms, five bathrooms and some gorgeous exposed wooden beam ceilings. It also features a large garden where Johnny’s children can run around and play.
Johnny and Vanessa officially split up after 14 years together back in June, however since they confirmed that they were no longer an item, they have been spotted together numerous times.

In fact, last month, eyewitnesses claimed they saw them holding hands and acting like a couple while they were enjoying a day out with their children in the South of France.
Johnny and Vanessa called it quits on their relationship after some relentless rumours that Johnny had been cheating on Vanessa with his (much younger) co-star Amber Heard.
Either way, we’re glad to see that they’re managing to be civil to each other for the sake of their children. This is how a break-up should go (are you listening Seal and Heidi Klum?).
