Fashion Police host and comedian Joan Rivers was rushed to hospital today in New York City. Rivers reportedly stopped breathing during a routine surgery.
According to Radar Online, Rivers was reportedly having vocal chord surgery at a New York clinic when doctors noticed she was no longer breathing.
Rivers has since been transferred to Manhattan Mount Sinai hospital. Her daughter Melissa is reportedly rushing to get to New York to see her mother.
Rivers is apparently in a critical condition in the New York hospital. It is believed the dispatcher was told a patient was in “either cardiac or respiratory arrest.”
