A fire warning is not the norm in Ireland...

A status orange fire warning has been issued for Ireland ahead of the good weather over the next few days. Temperatures are set to soar up to 25 degrees in some areas according to Met Éireann and the warm temperatures will bring with it a "high fire risk" according to the Department of Agriculture. The warning is already in place and will expire on Wednesday next week. Forest owners, farmers, rural dwellers and other countryside users are asked to be extremely vigilant regarding fire activity, to report any suspicious or illegal activity to the Gardaí and to report all fires immediately to the Fire and Emergency Services via 112/999.
