New footage released from ISIS today, warns European countries that there will be further attacks on countries involved in Syrian airstrikes.
The video, featuring a man named Al Ghareeb the Algerian, was released online on Monday following France’s airstrikes in Syria on Sunday evening.
In the footage, the terrorist group threaten to target any country which takes part in Syrian bombing, and specifically targets Washington DC.
Al Ghareeb warns European countries that they are “coming with booby traps and explosives”.
He says: “We say to the states that take part in the crusader campaign that, by God, you will have a day God willing, like France’s and by God, as we struck France in the centre of its abode in Paris, then we swear that we will strike America at its centre in Washington.
“I say to the European countries that we are coming, coming with booby traps and explosives, coming with explosive belts and (gun) silencers and you will be unable to stop us because today we are much stronger than before.”
According to the Irish Mirror, the video, which has not yet been authenticated, was uploaded to a site regularly used by the Islamic State to share messages.
The footage comes following France’s overnight airstrike on Islamic State’s de-facto capital in Syria and Prime Minister Manuel Valls’ declaration that “we are at war” against terrorism.
