Valid from Tuesday evening (September 16th) until early Wednesday morning (September 17th), the weather alerts apply to Cavan, Cork, Donegal, Kerry, as well as the entire province of Connacht.
They read: "Heavy spells of blustery rain. Possible impacts: Localised flooding, difficult travelling conditions, poor visibility."
Met Éireann's national forecast for Tuesday night states: "Widespread outbreaks of rain tonight, heavy and possibly thundery in places, with spot flooding likely.
"The rain will mostly clear eastwards by morning with some patches of fog developing in southern areas.
"Lowest temperatures of 9 to 14 degrees with southeasterly winds increasing fresh and gusty, stronger near coasts, veering southwesterly as the rain clears."
The forecast then states that the remaining rain, drizzle, and fog are set to clear early on Wednesday morning, leaving "a largely dry day".
Following this, on Thursday and Friday, there will be a mix of showers and sunny spells.
Meanwhile, there is "a good deal of uncertainty in the details at present" in terms of the weekend's weather.
Several marine warnings have also been issued for the next few days as winds are set to "reach force 6 or higher".
At certain times, there will be winds of gale force 8 or strong gale force 9, according to Met Éireann.
