While there was no winner of the EuroMillions jackpot prize of €17 million, one Irish player nabbed the top prize of €500k in the EuroMillions Plus draw.
The National Lottery has since confirmed that the winning ticket was sold in Cork.
The winning numbers for the EuroMillions Plus draw on Tuesday were as follows: 14, 19, 25, 43, 49.
As for the main EuroMillions draw, the important numbers were 7, 14, 19, 34 and 40, while the lucky stars were 6 and 8.
"There was no winner of the EuroMillions jackpot. In total, over 33,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games," the National Lottery said in a statement.
