An investigation has been launched after the body of a woman was discovered off the coast of Donegal.
The woman’s remains were found near Bundoran at approximately 9am this morning.
Gardaí are treating the death as a sudden death incident.
The body has since been recovered from the water and is now at the mortuary at Sligo University Hospital.
A postmortem is expected to be carried out over the next few days.
The results will determine the course of Gardaí’s investigation.
