This is the second time in a week that The Star has used “Maddie” in their headlines, also covering the discovery of a girl in a camp in Greece:
One of the lines in the online article included:
“POLICE yesterday found a blue-eyed “Irish Maddie” at the home of a Roma gypsy family."
DNA tests are currently being carried out to establish the identity of the young girl in Ireland. The family maintain that the girl is their daughter.
