A major 1,2000-acre brush fire broke out in the area on Tuesday, January 7th, causing major destruction.
The reality star's home was reportedly burned down as the fire ripped through their neighbourhood.
The couple, best known for starring on The Hills, were safely evacuated with their children.
However, it was not possible to save their family's home.
Spencer's sister Stephanie said she's heartbroken for her brother following the immense loss.
Writing on Instagram, she said: "I am beyond heartbroken for my brother, Heidi & the kids. And to all of our friends and neighbours who have lost their houses today."
She said huge efforts were made to save the property but it just wasn't possible.
"Just spoke to my dad - he tried to save my brother's house but the wind is so strong there was nothing he could do. Even the fire station in the palisades has burned down. The Pacific Palisades is completely on fire. No one is there."
She added: "My parents evacuated safely and are watching the fire rage towards their house on security cameras. I don't even want to look at mine as my dad told me the Market down the street from my house is on fire."
30,000 residents have reportedly been evacuated following the wildfires.
A state of emergency has also been declared for Ventura and Los Angeles counties.
