Today is set to be wet and blustery with bands of heavy rain that will become widespread this morning.
By this afternoon, the rain is set to clear up slightly but isolated, heavy showers will still linger and become thundery at times. The highest temperatures are between 13 and 19 degrees.
Saturday will also see a blustery day with widespread showers which will be heavy at time, with highest temperatures between 15 to 19 degrees.
When it comes to Sunday, Met Eireann said: "Staying wet and rather windy as showers continue to feed in across the country. Some of the showers will be heavy and thundery during the afternoon and evening. Staying windy too with moderate to fresh westerlies and highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees."
