Gardaí have launched an investigation following the incident
A woman in Cork has been rushed to hospital following a stabbing at a property in Cork city.
According to reports, the woman was found with stab wounds at a property on Evergreen Road in Cork.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on Evergreen Road and transported her to Cork University Hospital.
The woman, believed to be aged in her 20s, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at the hospital.
Gardaí rushed to the scene of the suspected assault within minutes.
They cordoned off the area and will conduct a full technical examination in due course.
A full Garda investigation has been launched following the suspected assault.
Gardaí are reportedly looking for a young male in connection with the incident.
The investigation team is reportedly analysing security camera footage to determine the movements of individuals in the area.
