An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a woman’s body in Co. Limerick.
The grim find was made in the backyard of a house at Ballygibba in Kilmallock earlier today and the woman is believed to be aged in her 50s.
At this stage, a cause of death has not been determined and gardaí are said to be unsure if the circumstances are suspicious.
A post-mortem examination on the unidentified woman’s body will be carried out by the Deputy State Pathologist tomorrow.
