Ricardo Medina, a former star of the Power Rangers TV series, has been arrested after allegedly stabbing his roommate with a sword.
The LA Sheriff Department believe that Medina (36) had an argument with Joshua Sutter (36) at their Californian home.
After the disagreement, it is thought that Medina went into his bedroom, accompanied by his girlfriend when Sutter forced his way into the room.
According to reports, this was when Medina stabbed Sutter with a sword.
Emergency services were called and Sutter was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The actor was arrested and has been detained by police on suspicion of murder, he is due to make a court appearance on Tuesday.
Medina is known for his roles in Power Rangers Wild Force and Power Rangers Samurai.
