A family of five were found dead in Co Cavan this morning.
According to RTÉ , Gardaí discovered the bodies of a man in his 40s, a woman in her 30s and their three sons aged 13, 11 and 6, at a property in the town of Barconey, near Ballyjamesduff.
An official investigation is underway but early reports have suggested that Gardaí are describing the incident as a tragedy.
A press conference will be held at 5pm this evening at Ballyjamesduff Garda station.
The State Pathologist and Garda Technical Bureau have attended the scene.
