Whether you’ve an interest in fashion or not, the mystique surrounding Vogue magazine is undeniable and even if you don’t know your Chanel from your Carven, the women behind the magazine are intriguing.
So it comes as no surprise that yet another film exploring the iconic publication has been made. The September Issue gave an insight into the magazine as a whole and the latest Vogue offering – a HBO documentary – is set for release in the states on December 6th and gives viewers an insight into the minds of some of its most famous and influential editors.
Entitled In Vogue: The Editor’s Eye the film is based on the book of the same name which celebrates some of the most iconic images the magazine has published over the years and the documentary primarily serves as a running commentary to accompany it. Famous faces including Anna Wintour, our personal hero Grace Coddington and the formidable Polly Mellen all appear and from what we’ve seen, the film promises to be a visual treat.
