Most parents go to great lengths to make sure their children get on well in school, but how far is too far?
We’re not entirely sure where the line is, but we do know that one American mother definitely crossed it.
Pennslyvanian Catherine Venusto, 45, has admitted to using confidential information she accessed as a secretary for her children’s school to access records out of hours and change grades for both her son and daughter. Venusto used the login access of the school’s district superintendent to change a failing grade for her daughter to a medical exception, and bumped up an already impressive grade of 98 to a 99 for her son. Was that really worth getting arrested for?
Venusto was released on a bail of $30,000 on Wednesday, and NBC news are reporting that she has admitted her actions were unethical, but not illegal. Those children are so lucky to have her…
