Tragic news this afternoon.
An eight year old boy who was attacked by a number of dogs in Dublin has died.
The boy received serious injuries after being attacked by the dogs at a house in Tallaght on Sunday afternoon.
Gardaí said that the child was taken to Tallaght Hospital yesterday and was later removed to Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) at Crumlin.
RTÉ News reports that he has since died.
The dog warden was notified of the incident yesterday and the dogs have since been confiscated.
