Needless to say, we’re all making sure we have a ticket for tonight’s draw. Would you believe that tonight’s jackpot is a whopping € 190million? Unreal, right?
The Irish Sun reports that newsagents across the country are preparing for an absolute frenzy tonight as people flock to buy a ticket for the huge cash prize.
Thousands of recession-weary people are expected to snap up a ticket simply because tonight’s jackpot HAS to be won. Yes, they’re practically forcing the €190million on us! (Not that we’re complaining, mind you).
“Sales will be through the rough today. We’re expecting thousands of people to play in Ireland alone,” said a spokeswoman for the Lotto.
“This is the Olympic gold of the Euromillions,” she added.
The huge jackpot has been rolling over since June 22, and apparently, once it reaches €190million it has to have a winner.
“If the jackpot is not won by one individual it will then cascade down to the next, so there could potentially be multiple millionaire winners,” said the Lotto spokeswoman.

This is the largest amount that the Euromillions jackpot has ever reached, so ladies, if you want to be in with a chance of bagging yourself some extra cash make sure you snap up a ticket before 7.30pm tonight!
