The news was announced on Twitter last night.

The hugely popular DCU charity event, ‘Beg, Borrow, Steal’ has been postponed this week due to security concerns for the 200+ students that were due to travel.

The event was fixed for today (November 18th) where over 100 teams of two were due to race to Berlin simply by relying on the kindness of others.

The race was following on from last year’s hugely successful race to Edinburgh which saw €25,000 raised for the Donal Walsh #LiveLife Foundation, with donations from this year’s race going to the Irish Cancer Society.

Following on from Tuesday night’s events in Hanover, which saw an international soccer match being called off due to security concerns, it was announced on Twitter last night that the event has been postponed.
